Any of you constantly get paypal emails about security issues? Is paypal trying to be legit or is it bogus still? They tell me to update my info or my account would be closed. It was already closed years ago when they limited my account access because there were security breach.

By the way, what ever happened to the paypal lawsuit? Has anyone gotten their share of the pot?

You need to learn the difference between real Paypal emails and scam emails. I hardly ever get a real email from Paypal and they never ask to update your account.

They're just trying to get you to come back as a customer. Just click on the link, update your info, eneter your SSN, CC, PIN and you're good to go. It's not hard, really.

Any of you got an email last week notifying about the distribution of funds from the Paypal lawsuits? Have you received your money?

never reply to an email like that.

paypal debit card rocks! sell a few things on ebay, use paypal debit card to buy things. wife/SO has no idea 🙂

the legit Paypal emails do not have any links in them. They simply tell you to go to paypal and do whatever. That's the safest thing to do anyway... type in a URL manually.

Probably because you clicked on one of these fake emails that is NOT from PayPal and gave some random scam operation your information.

Tip:
NEVER click on a link in an email. If "PayPal" or "CitiBank" or "eBay" emails you to sas there is a problem with your online banking, you MANUALLY open a browser window on your own, go to (them).com like you normally do, and login normally to see if there really is a problem.

99.9% of emails about "your account" are randomly generated SCAM EMAILS. It's trusting people like you that make this kind of scam profitable.

$.78? That sucks that its preposterous. Are you sure? Anyway I'm waiting for my longform money. I heard I can retire after this.
