PayPal is the authorized payment processor for BLAHBLAH. This credit card transaction will appear on your bill as "PAYPAL *MYREALNAME".

SOB...how do I get it to show something else. Do I have to setup a business account. I'm trying to setup donation. Searching on google and newsgroups trying to find an answer is a joke. I setup another email to my primary account and can change BLAHBLAH to whatever I want but how can I change MYREALNAME to BLAHBLAH.

Log in to paypal, go to profile and click on "Payment Receiving Preferences" and edit the "Credit Card Statement Name" field at the bottom

thanks so much...ok based on what you told me I even found the help for it.

So I guess I need a premier account or business account for this option?

Payment Receiving Preferences.

Under Selling Preferences these 3 options are all I have:

Auctions
Shipping Preferences
PayPal Shops

Account Basics - My Profile - Payment Prefs

What is the 'Credit Card Statement Name' preference?

This preference allows you to choose the name that will appear on your customers' credit card statements. When a buyer funds a PayPal payment with his credit card, your Credit Card Statement Name will appear with the word PAYPAL* next to the charge on his card statement (e.g. PAYPAL*MYCCNAMEHERE. The Credit Card Statement Name may contain only letters, numbers, and spaces, and can be a maximum of 12 characters long (including spaces). It will be displayed in capital letters on your buyers' statements.

You can edit your Credit Card Statement Name on the Payment Receiving Preferences page of your Profile section. The Credit Card Statement Name should accurately reflect your business or legal name.

OK I figured it out....yes you do have to have either a Premier account or business account. Personal accounts don't have these options. Sucks though 3% fee.
