Paypal scam hits anandtech?

Fake paypal?

I logged on to my email this morning after posing a for sale forum, I was selling an apple Ipod.

Low and behold I got an email saying that I bought an Ipod, it had my name and everything. So I was like Huh? and decided to investigate. I do not use any other sale sites except eBay and anandtech, and I have not bought any thing from eBay in a month or so, and the only way they could get my name is from the profile.

Man these people are getting desperate.
To any one selling be warned?

Take a look at the link at the bottom...

Wow, that's pretty inventive! Getting people to give-up their PayPal login by making them think someone purchased an item using it...very clever.

I predict a lot more trouble for PayPal in the future. I bet hijackings are at an all time high this holiday season. I've already run into a few sales to hijacked accounts.
