Anytime I've ever received a payment through PayPal, I've always received an auto-generated email directly from PayPal, letting me know I've received money.
Recently, I sold something but I never received the email from PayPal. What I received was what looked just like the typical PayPal receipt I normally get but it came directly from the buyer's email address and not from PayPal.
I logged into my PayPal account and did see the money there but it just struck me as odd to get an email that originated from the buyer and not from PayPal as I normally have in the past.
Is this common or should I have received my normal notification directly from PayPal?
