At one point I had to accept over 100 in credit card funds so my account became premiere/preferred. Is there any way i can undo this? I never need credit card payment again, and I dont like losing a small %.
 
1. Go to paypal.com
2. Log in:
3. Choose "My Account Profile" in left box
4. Choose "Downgrade Account" in right box
 
tight, I also didn't know you could do this.

So you can accept paypal without the 2.9% if you aren't a premier member? I thought the 2.9% was for all people accepting money or only non-instant payments?
 
Looks like most of these peoples problems result from holding a balance with paypal. I never keep anything in that account.

 
meh.. just because you read it, doesnt make it true.. btw, i submitted my request to go back to standard.. it was a little trickier for me, but should be getting an email soon
