Paypal Question... Please help... :)

Hey,

I had a quick question. Earlier today i used a Buy-Now option on an ebay auction (my first auction ever). The seller said he accepts paypal, so i signed up for a new account today. From what it looks like, it will take 3-4 business days before i can spend any money, is this true? Im sorta confused about this... I dont really want any money in my paypal account, just wanna pay this dude asap... Is there a way to just use my credit/debit card right away with the system? Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide...

When I first used paypal. I paid with a debit card and it went through right away. That was about a year ago.

You should be able to pay with your CC or DC immediately if you can get confirmation from them for it...

hmmm ok.. well i went to send money and it said this: Balance: $0.00
Next to that it said add credit card... When i went to that it let me add my credit/debit card....

Is this what you all were referring to? I mean, by doing that, it should let me send money right then?

Use a credit card not a debit card you have protection options that you won't have any chance at under a debit card that says visa but draws on the checking account.
