PayPal question - did they change the credit card thing?

Hi all,

Quick Paypal question, please.

I used to be able to send someone money using a credit card I have on file with PayPal. I have $70 in my PPal account right now. I just tried to send $400 and got this error message: "Your payment did not go through. You need to add funds to your PayPal account."

It used to use my PPal balance first, then go to the credit card. I have plenty of money open on the card. Did they change something? Thanks!

Did your credit card on file expire, and you haven't updated it with the new date?

Nope, not expired. I did notice that when I went into the card to look at the details, the CVC number was blank. But I've used the card many times before. Maybe the blank number was just a safety measure? This is weird. And inconvenient. I paid a big chunk of money on the CC to be able to make this transaction. :thumbsdown: My available credit is plenty. I'm confused. Maybe I'll try again later? Thanks, gocorps.

I think I know what happened. My online CC info shows plenty of available credit, and that my payment posted. But my bank doesn't show the money as coming out of my account yet. Maybe I don't have enough open credit on that card? Oh well, I'll just wait. I only use one credit card with PayPal...safer that way.
