PayPal Question - anyone know?

If someone makes a payment to you via paypal, how long before it shows up there? Someone bought something from me on Ebay and says they made the payment and that their bank account reflects that, however PayPal shows nothing about receiving the funds.
 
i don't know about bank transfers...

but ask for a screenshot of his bank transaction list (with appropriately blurred sections of course) at the least...

Agreed. He's either lying or he sent it to the wrong account.
