Abuse? Were you reported for things you didn't do or something? I've been using it for over a year, and I'm happy with it.

I have $68.00 in my account and because the postal system changed my zip code I cannot do a withdrawl, I can only pay out. Thank goodness it's only a measly 68 bucks.

If anyone takes paypal and has something worth buying for $68.00, PM me.

How did they reverse your Deposits, is that even possible? I NEVER leave money in Paypal and never in the account I transfer Paypal to.

How in the hell is it legal for them to withdraw money from your savings/checking account without your approval. I see a class action lawsuit coming. They're fvcked.

I gotta ask, why does anyone use paypal? Why don't you use COD when doing business between two private parties?

They're pigs. I got a depost of $210 from a *verified* user once and instead of tracking him down they suspended my account, even tho it was none of my fault.

the worst part, I called them and emailed them atleast 10 + times, and it took them something like 3-4 months to take the suspension off, and they took the $$ too (understandably). Why the hell could'nt they just take the $$ a bit sooner, save me a lot of trouble?

AmusedOne- I don't know about USPS or FedEx, but at UPS, there's an additional $5-6 COD charge (not sure which. I don't do a lot of CODs & since the rate hike in Feb, it might be $6.)

Also, then you have to wait for the money to get sent back to you once the package is delivered. It is a safe method, but you end up waiting awhile to get paid.

So far I've been lucky w/ PayPal.
(Hoping that Murphy didn't hear me say that)

Hi bonkers325

We can remove the money provided that the money is in the account and if the Seller did not follow the Seller Protection Program. If money is not in the account, then the seller has a liability for the debt or they are a fraud party. Fraud parties require additional investigation and there is no guarantee we will be able to prosecute.

Users would want to report the issue to us (through the Buyer Complaint Process) whenever they notice a potential problem because it could point us to a person attempting to defraud users. There are many reason why the Buyer Complaint process has to be followed when attempting to make a claim.

PayPal did not defraud the user. An unscrupulous person did that was selling items at another venue and we will recovery on the behalf of the user.

Hi Soybomb,

I just got some PayPal t-shirts in. I have about 15 that I can give away---simply send me a PM or an email. I will need a size and a street address (I am waiting for my XL and XXL shirts to come in, so those of you that are owed shirts will probably see them after next week).

Thanks!

OK, I can see your points. But to be honest, it sounds like the safest and most foolproof way to do business.

BTW, here's the rate schedule on CODs:

Collect on Delivery Fees

Amount to be collected or insurance desired///Fee in addition to Postage
$0.01 to $ 50.00 -----------------------$4.50
50.01 to 100.00 -------------------------5.50
100.01 to 200.00 ------------------------6.50
200.01 to 300.00 ------------------------7.50
300.01 to 400.00 ------------------------8.50
400.01 to 500.00 ------------------------9.50
500.01 to 600.00 -----------------------10.50
600.01 to 700.00 -----------------------11.50
700.01 to 800.00 -----------------------12.50
800.01 to 900.00 -----------------------13.50
900.01 to 1,000.00----------------------14.50

simplified rates
