Paypal Good or Bad??

Whats your opinion about Paypal? What do you like? What don't you like??

bad from what i heard they are doing reversals on funds and all that and that is no good.

I've had no problems dealing with them, but I've only used them maybe 3 times in nearly 1 year.

Mostly good. The one bad experience with them is that I was trying to send around $90 using them. I had $70 something in my PayPal account already. It was not letting me do direct fund transfers from my bank accounts, so I sent an "e-check." Rather than take the $70 out of my PayPal account first, it was going to take the entire $90 from my checking account. So, I cancelled the e-check, sent the $70 afirst, & then sent a $20 e-check. Two days later I check my bank statement, & I had been charged for BOTH e-checks, overdrawing my bank account. Granted I got the money back, but it was rather frustrating having PayPal in possession of $90 of my money, not to mention the $21 overdraft fee on my checking account.

Other than that they've been good to me. I've sent several thousand $$ through them, relatively incident free.

The experience that I have had with it has proved to be good. Not a problem from what I can see, but I am sure that it has its share of problems.

Reversals occur with fraud and or charge backs. In both cases, the receiving account is not restricted and the pending reversals are placed against the transactions in question. The recipient is asked to provide documentation on the transactions for protection in the Seller Protection Program.

Bad, I've had nothing but problems with them. Made a deal with someone on this board. It took me a month the get my credit card registered. Had to call up paypal and fax them a picture id and bla bla bla.

Then just the other day I make another deal, and now they are asking me to enter my bank account information! Bunch of idiots.

Won't touch it any more, if someone insists on paying me with paypal, I will charge $30 per $100

I haven't had any problems with paypal, yet...
