I have heard that there is a limit (per month) to how much money you can recieve in your paypal account. Is this true at all? BTW as the title says I have a regular account. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

If none of that bothers you, or you don't think any of that applies to you/is likely to happen to you, then no worries.

There's a limit to how much money you can have (total, don't know about monthly) if you don't link PayPal to a bank account. I trust the intarwebs, but not enough to let them reach into my bank account.

WOW that sucks!!!!! I was so ignorant. Now I know.
 
how are they evil? it costs them money to process payments and they are one of the lowest cost merchant service providers out there for low volume users.
