paypal email scam

I never thought i get something like this! but it finally got around to me, just unbelivable!
It says from paypal security center, return email is support@verifypaypal.com but is cleverly disguised as
to say from support@paypal.com. This is a very suspicious email and you should be as you know paypal will never ask you for your username/password etc...
Just wanted to inform some people that are still unaware of this scam going on.
Below is what it should look like.

This e-mail is the notification of recent innovations taken by PayPal to detect inactive customers.

The inactive customers are subject to restriction and removal in the next 3 months.

Please confirm your email address by logging in to your PayPal account using the form below:

Password:

That's clever but it won't fool everyone, I was like WTF? is this a scam? upon verifying, it is! I hope whoever that is doing this, would be put behind bar asap.

Don't send your account info to Paypal, send it to me instead! :D


It is a good tip, and everyone should be very wary of sending information to anyone over the 'net. There are a lot of clever peeps out there that are scamming their way across the Internet.
