Paypal Alternative?

I'm so fed up with paypal as many are & looking for an alternative method of paying people online. Any good suggestions?
 
1 reason is I got ripped off by a lady that stole from about 30 of us at one time on ebay... then when paypal refused to cover me & I did a chargeback, they threatened my credit!

I opened another account & have about a grand in balance right now - money received for a few paintball guns, dive gear, etc.. Because I have no credit card listed, they decided that I can't send any money!!! So the balance is just sitting there! Can't send it, can't withdraw it! WTF?
It's an active balance! That's like a bank saying since I don't have a checking account, I can't take money out of my Savings??????

Finally, I just bought a camera on ebay & since I need to pay for it - I decided to concede & add a credit card....... now they have some kind of bullcrap about having your card get charged $1.95, then waiting till it shows up on your statement to verify some number code! That'll take days, even with an online statement! What the hell?

I would love to use money orders or checks, but need something with a credit card that'll allow for some security(i.e. chargebacks) in case of a large fraud case like I went through.

Are you positive that you can't withdraw the cash via a check? Are you over exagerating?
 
Bidpay if you don't mind paying them to send money for you. I don't think it's as fast as paypal though. I prefer money orders and cashiers checks as a seller. As a buyer I like paypal, though I don't trust them much. When they were starting out, it took me 2 hours to "try" to get an account with them for maybe a $5 or $10 credit that they were misrepresenting as cash. I gave up and hadn't given them a try again til recently when I started using my own ebay account more.
