Direct debit for cable bills, online (manually) for gas and electric, direct debit for rent.
Insurance is paid for all in one go over the phone.
CC is paid online whenever it's been used.

I have nearly every bill set up to hit my CC every month. Can't do the cars.

I want the frequent flyer miles and like the convenience of it all. The CC gets paid off every month.

Everything I can pay on line- I do.

Everything is paid online except for a rare occasion where I get a bill for some odd service, and I'm too lazy to set up another payee in my online banking.

Both. Most of my bills are paid online.
However the company doing the water bill charges a $5 "convenience fee" for submitting a payment online. Screw them.. I'll spend $0.39 instead.
Then theres my truck payment. The only form of electronic payment accepted by the bank that has the loan is automatic monthly debit. NEVER EVER agree to automatic debit!!! If a billing dispute ever arrises you will not be able to stop them from debiting your account and will get screwed harder than Paris Hilton after a night of partying!

I've got all my bills set to auto-pay to my CC (and my CC is set to auto-pay the minimum balance in case I forget to manually pay it off).

the only bill that I don't pay electronically is my rent... I give my landlord the rent check in person every month (or I drop it in his mailbox... I like having the paper trail of deposited checks in case any kind of dispute ever came up)

They have these things called mailboxes. Besides the mailman putting mail in them, you can also put mail in them and have the mailman take it out.

If you're in an apartment, you don't have an outgoing drop box?

I pay pretty much everything thru the net.
Even the loan I have from my dad. I just go into my checking accout bill pay option and have payment sent to him.

Of course they(the bank) send a check, but I never have to get a stamp or go to the post office.

I pay all my cards on the net, and my cars by phone, and I normally call the cable co, and give them a cc #.

I pay everything through the mail. The problem with paying online is that you have less control over your money. Ex: Your cell phone bill is $485 all of a sudden. You know it was not due to you. Unfortunately, they deduct it anyway. Goodbye money.

Just don't set the bill to auto-pay.

Except that there is a difference between autopaying and paying online.
