i guess i'll be geting my w2 soon, which i'll need to learn how to fill out,heh. my friends say i shouldn't have to really worry since i only made about 2,500 for the year, but is there anything i should make sure i do?

Do it online at hrblock.com... Its really easy! If you make under a certain amount (I don't know how much) the usage is usually free.

2. Read the instructions carefully
3. Remember to pay both State/Fed taxes [Depends on states]
4. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK
5. Mail it in

erm, the w2 isn't for filling out then, it's just the information for this other form, doh. does the 1040ez form cover state and federal?

The one I linked is for federal...you'll find the one for your state on your state's website,a local library, or post office
