I can't believe there is no Quest for Glory, or King's Quest listed here. Those are the games that revolutionized the gaming world as we know it.

I'm at the end of FFX and can't beat it (i'm going to get Jason to show me on his game the ending :>) and I have FFX2 lined up as the next game for me to beat.

Online RPG's kinda weren't what I was concentrating on :p
And I never really got into the PC RPG scene... I like to emerse myself into the game, and using a much more complicated control system (keyboard) it's harder to do that...Unless it's Ultima Online, which I became addicted to and would barely leave my house for anything but sex or food; i'm not off the UO addiction \o/

As far as Legend of Dragoon, I didn't like the graphics, pov, battle system, characters, attacks, etc... I never played it long enough to get into the story line though. Same w/ FF8 and the reasons I didn't play it.

Breath of Fire 1 & 3 (Never actually finished 2) - Great games, one is pretty cool but sort of slowly paced.
Star Ocean - just a game I guess :p

you shoudl have staied with dragoon the story is amazing and really deep, and yes teh PS1 graphics wernt all that good, but at the time i plaied these things that is all that was out

Aye, many a baddie's life had been ended with a good rocket propelled grenade. I suppose we ought to respect it. for rocket propelled grenades!

Good games, but not really RPGs. Adventure games, although QfG did add RPG elements.

ugh FF 7+ were like to playing a movie. which was part of the problem. I don't want to cast a spell then have 2 minutes of FMV. or get to a new part and have FMV. They are going overboard with it.

FMV is great if used sparingly. FF3 (us) is great. one of my favorite games i went and bought FF Anthology for the PS1 for this game. i also bought FF Chronicles for chrono trigger and FF IV.

I have been playing Dragon Warrior 7 (played the rest released in the US) and yes it is slow. But so far the story is great! I'm still on the first CD.

Still on the first cd? I didn't know DW7 had other cds...or I haven't inspected my case very well? :p

well mine came with 2 cd's!

I forgot about the breath of fire seires. I enjoyed bof 1-4 great series.

Wow, no votes yet for the original Pools of Radiance, or Curse of the Azure Bonds? How about Phantasy?

At least someone here remembers Wasteland :)

FF 2 and 3 US were pinnacle. SOM was great.

The dragon warrior series was great. I think dragon warrior 3 was the one where you eventually got transported to the original dragon warrior map?
That game was HUGE.

I just don't have the time to play games like I did in my childhood. I guess that is a good thing I left it with good memories.
