Someone who eats $28 of Taco Bell for lunch is someone who should not be trusted. Ever. About anything.

Lying about paying $28 for a lunch at Taco Bell to create a fake talking point on that inflation is out of control and getting called out on social media for BS lying is poetic justice to this Fox Business Investment Advisor on air contributor from Chicago. I would never take a financial advice from a person who lies about small things like this as you can imagine he will lie about your investments which will have a greater impact on yourself.

Fox Business contributor (Scott D. Martin of Kingsview Wealth Management):
“You want to know how bad inflation is? Yesterday, yes, I had a nice lunch at Taco Bell — cost me about $28 at Taco Bell for lunch.”

Went to Wendys the other day. Meals 1-9 were $10-$12. Couldn't believe it.

It looks like if I order a Mexican pizza combo, a 2 chicken chalupa supreme combo, upgrade both to the Cherry Bliss drink, and add on an order of Loaded TRUFF nacho fries to share I can hit $28.
But that's 2 people. This guy doesn't look like he eats quite that much himself.

so you bought 3 and blamed it on inflation?
Lol I wish. But for me, nothing that day. Although I’ve been getting the $5 biggie bag the last couple of times.

My daughter got a plain single with ketchup, small fries and a small frosty for like $9.60

Actually, I might be able to believe it. When we go to Carl's Jr, it is actually really expensive I think. I don't have the receipts I don't think, but I am sure my dad and I have paid over $40 or $50 on a run. Now this is for two people, but still, I think I eat most of the food.

Thing is, taco bell isn't as good IMO. It is ok in a pinch, and I like the Baja Blast, but ususually I spend around $15 or less there.

The Mexican Pizza is one of my favorite fast food guilty pleasures. How good is that shit?

He should have said it was in an airport, and we wouldn't be doubting him. Remember back to the $5 footlong days at Subway, but you'd not find that deal in an airport. Fees really kick in the expense there. I have had a $90 breakfast by myself traveling for work, but the little place by the gate didn't mention the bloody mary's were $18.00 a piece with top shelf vodka, and rather small.

You might believe he can spend $28 for lunch at Taco Bell because you spent $40-50 at Carl's Jr? o_O
Did you know Carl's Jr is more expensive than Taco Bell? It looks like to hit $37 (after tax, mind) at Carl's Jr I can get a double cheeseburger combo, a bacon swiss chicken sandwich combo, 6 piece jalapeno poppers, and strawberry swirl cheesecake.

Back in the day I visited Denver area (no Carl's Jr. up in New England), and it was pretty pricey. The burger was enormous, so I didn't sweat it too much.

Yeah this is total bullshit.

I ate there for the first time in years this past summer on a road trip and for 2 adults and 2 kids it was like $30.
