Payday:the heist : Left 4 Dead blend in development

The developers of payday:the heist and valve software are teaming up to make a blend of payday:the heist and left 4 dead

We are working on a very cool blend of PAYDAY and Left 4 Dead. I am sure it is so exciting that it will have some players check into the hospital before we are done.

Maybe some kind of mission based game set in a zombie outbreak?

Maybe something like a squad of people are sent into a hospital to retrieve medicines?

Maybe a squad of people are sent to rescue a doctor or scientist that is working on a cure for the zombie infection?

One of the things with left 4 dead / left 4 dead 2, there are no objectives besides make it to the safe room.

In the steam forums there are a lot of complaints about rushers, and how a good team of survivors can steam roll the infected.

Maybe adding some objectives to a game like l4d/l4d2 would help improve it?

If you don't have it already, then you should definitely try Payday. It's similar to Left 4 Dead, but the enemies are smarter, the settings are much more interesting, and it requires tactics and even stealth.

Haven't played Payday, but watched some Playthroughs. Looks hella fun. Definitely something you'd want to play with friends though.
