Paychecks -- How much tax is taken out in Cali?

All the times i've been paid in the past, i've never kept the stubs or really calculated the %. Some say 25%, some say more, or less. But, since i'm a student, and filed ZERO, how much of the tax is taken out of the paycheck? For example, if i make 100 week. And how much will i get back?

it depends on how much you make, you probably will get about 35% held on the light side federal will be like 25% + 6% for social sec, + 4% state

if you make less then like 20k in the year you will get all of it back except the social security part

you can goto www.irs.gov to do it more detailed

State taxes are hardly anything. It's all federal and social security and stuff.
