pay per minute cell phones

i want to get a cell phone but i won't use it that often.

can anyone recommend a cheap nice pay-per-minute plan?

and how is the reception compared to regular month plans?

thanks

They have plans as low as $19.99/mo for 60 minutes ... unless you have REALLY SH!TTY credit I would get a regular plan.

Which cell phone provider has the best coverage in your area? Ask your friends, family and co-workers who they use and if they are happy.

Prepaid cell phone reception is the same as pay as you go it depends mostly on:
1) Your cell phone.
2) Your cell phone provider.

I'd recommend just getting a cheap regular plan with not a whole bunch of minutes, I mean, the pay-by-minutes can get pretty expensive....some of them charge like a dollar a minute.....I wouldn't recommend it

What do you guys with pay per minute phones pay per minute? I pay $.35/min which really seems expensive to me but I try to keep my cell phone usage down to a min. cause of that and I don't blab unneccessarily on it. I put $20 on it each time which is about an hour of talk time. If I dont have much money it's nice that I can just leave it at $0 (for up to like 60 days when there is a service fee to reactivate).
