I love how that flip flopping asshat Romney tries to interrupt Paul and then he has that 'who the hell is this guy' look on his face when Paul won't let him have his way :D

ummm yea.... Reagan invaded Grenada, bombed Libya and funded the contras, I don?t think he would look at Iraq the same way Paul does.

Reagan would have most likely bombed the hell out of AQ and the Taliban some times in the mid 90s, say after the Embassy bombings.

Was Reagan perfect? No, however in comparison with Bush, he showed great restraint. After the Marine barracks bombing he withdrew the troops rather than escalating. Also, we (thankfully) never went from "Cold War" to "Hot War" with Russia. Even Bush's father showed more restraint than his son did during the 1st Gulf War.

No non Prof John----Ron Paul is a card carrying Republican---and is in the correct company as the GOP is now the party of looney tunes and right wing wackos. And Prevayors of big deficits
and quagmires since 2000.

Besides, come 2008, the GOP will need every nut it can muster because everyone sane is deserting a sinking ship---including---gasp-- Newt.

Based on his record in Lebanon he wouldn't have bombed AQ.

Go read my latest and learn the parallel between this ?phony war? and the one waged by Neville Chamberlain at the start of WW 2.

I have - and now it's not about what Newt may have said, it's other attaching their ideas about what he may have said.... Attempting to spin it...

Come on, are you really paying attention? Most democrats, especially those running for president sound like rabbit warmongers and closet imperialists. If anything Paul sounds like a libertarian, and a damned fine one at that.

Not any more. Anyways, that was just my sarcastic way of saying, "add some comments before your thread gets locked."

Ummm Ron Paul is one of the most Conservative members of Congress.

Hes a classical liberal, and esposes libertarian ideals.

Hes one of the most fiscal conservatives in Congress and is a strict Constitutional constructionist.

Yeah but he never went to War. Bombing is one thing, war and occupation is another. Hell Clinton bombed alot of countries too.
