You're an idiot if you think Esky or myself are 'far leftists.'
But go ahead and keep telling yourself that.
However, you probably should know that when Hannity told you to stop paying your underwater mortgage because 'Obama's socialist policies will make it so the housing market will never recover!" that I bought it out of foreclosure and flipped it for a fat profit long before 2016.
Oh BTW, Hannity was doing the same, but at a much larger scale of course. Just like Beck was selling off gold while telling all his followers to buy it "before the dollar collapses!"
The anger runs deep. And personal insults too. :) All good, it's expected.

Wow.. the denial runs deep here.

My point is that if you believe that the economy has been for only the last few years, that can only be because you must have missed out on the good years before then. Most likely because, as with a great many 'conservatives,' you were getting your economic advice from talking heads who were intentionally screwing you.

Is that really that hard to understand?

How specifically are Vic and Eskiy "far left"? Can you name specific policies they've supported here are "far left"?
Everyone who is opposed to America becoming a single party state ruled forever by the Trump dynasty is a 'far leftist' according to the MAGAs.

why do you think I missed out on anything? can you give me examples of my financial state that shows I missed out? I don't listen to talking heads, would defer that to you since you appear to know what talking heads are saying.

I can see P&N continues to be a hotbed of deep, incisive commentary and debate. :sunglasses:

It might be except for trolls who intentionally make dishonest arguments and then feign 'personal attacks' from 'far leftists' when they get shut down.
is that your goal, shut down an opposing viewpoint? sounds a little, dare I say it??? no I don't think so....yet.

not trolling, just drop one statement in and see the flood come. The echo chamber here is strong
What you're describing is literally the definition of trolling.

BTW if you're looking for an echo chamber, you should go to r/the_Donald. I'm sure you'll find it a 'safe space.'

and you fail to understand even yet. poor vic. Let me make it in simple terms for you. An opposing statement dropped into a thread will create a firestorm of reaction form the offended leftists here = pebble in the water creates a tsunami. Does that help you? Clear communication between opposing parties helps in the discussion. I'll try to stay away from metaphors, allegory, exaggeration of example, irony and other more complex forms of discourse.

door is open for a discussion but you will have to retract your assumptions so we can start creating a discourse.

you've already admitted, twice, that you're not interested in honest discourse, because you view attempts to correct your false narrative as a firestorm or tsunami.

so the only true narrative is yours? there can be no opposing viewpoint equally valid but yours?

You have yet to offer one in your criticism of Krugman & the forum. Krugman has been right about a lot of things, like the housing bubble, even as he didn't quite realize how bad it would get.

Incorrect predictions/forecasts.
Everyone who makes predictions is usually wrong. Being right on future predictions is a less common outcome by anyone. Krugman is often wrong, quite spectacularly sometimes.

Links aren't arguments. Now explain how Krugman was wrong in each case.

its because your opposing statement is so fundamentally flawed that it shocks the conscience that a human being could actually believe such a thing.
