Ever since I was a little kid I've always wondered what that meant and I still do. Is "hot dog" '60s slang for an attractive man or a good dancer something?

what about penis

also, hot dogging in 60's slang meant (meaning one) showing off and (two) rubbing the penis between her legs or buns or whatever without penetration. in addition, rock and roll is a sexual technique that involves her rocking and rolling in order to give him some fine sensations.

giving this fine piece of musical lyrical poetry multiple layers of meaning.

All it meant was she was crazy about hot dogs and rock-n-roll.

Patty Lane (Duke) is a normal teenager living in the Brooklyn Heights section of New York City, who is into boys, ice cream, and sleepovers (and as the lyrics to the theme song point out--"Patty loves to rock 'n' roll, a hot dog makes her lose control!").

I watched the show all the time in the early 60's and there was nothing sexually suggestive on TV.

Damn this morning, 7-11 gave me the little hot dog instead of the Big Bite that was part of the Bug Gulp + Big Bite combo deal. Ultimately, I paid more for less. I'm going to go back there and lose control.
