One of my all time favorite players. Seemed to be in on every tackle and every big defensive play. Being a lifelong Arizona football fan myself I know him from his College days too.

Coach Bill Belichick, usually stoic, choked up as he discussed Bruschi. ?How do I feel about Tedy Bruschi?? Belichick said. ?He?s a perfect player.?

Cheers to a great career, Tedy!

Hated him, mainly because he was there when the Pats beat the Steelers in many playoff games. Good player.

Has a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge head but all around great player and person. His ESPN Make a Wish segment was moving.

Kinda sad. He wasn't the same player after the stroke, but he was still pretty good and very smart.
You could see the fall-off last year, and when he did play this year he was markedly slower.
He picked the right time to quit. He seems like he might make a good coach or announcer in the future.

Hate the Pats with a passion, but I have respect for the man, he played the game the right way, on and off the field

I often got him confused with the Patriots mascot. Someone please get side by sides for comparison...or I'll do it later :X

edit ah what the hell: Tedy - mascot - Which is which?

Have you ever seen a linebacker with a small head?, guess you don't watch much football..

He's a hall of famer... maybe not first ballot but he'll get in. He played the game right and lord knows it takes guts to play after having a stroke.

Good luck to him in the future. He's a winner so I'm sure he'll be great at whatever he decides to pursue.
