Patriot Torqx 2 Anyone?

damn.. i can't find a single thing on this. think i may order one to see how it is. i can't find any actual info though.

i was JUST reading that and was coming back to paste it. i still don't see what controller they're using. i see it's ps3105, but uhhh.. wtf?

We previously hadn’t seen the new PS3105 controller before, however, until Patriot sent us a sample of its 256GB Torqx 2 and we popped the drive’s top. Sitting next to the PS3105 are eight Toshiba MLC NAND lash modules and 128MB of DDR cache.

in the blue print on top it says.. Although the name Phison is likely unfamiliar to most power users, the company isn’t a rookie in the controller market at all. In addition to being one of the founding members of ONFI (Open NAND Flash Interface), Phison also gained familiarity by powering an SSD in Asus’ Eee PC lineup.

hmmm.. must be my superior browser settings then cause I don't get it when I open the link.

But yeah, I hear ya and didn't mean to cause anyone more headaches than all this crap already causes. lol
