i remember reading that some people rented the patriot and complained that it was unplayable. i was able to get my copy to play by disabling PBC, whatever that is. on your remote, press PBC until its off.

pretty good movie, but not better than bravehart.

it's a seamless branching problem i thinkbut that can be completely fixed with a (not so) simple firmware upgrade.
