Patriot Low Latency 2GB Memory Kit for $153.80 Shipped

As pointed out by the first responder below, there is another thread devoted to this rebate offer However I have read through that thread and found (1) ZERO statements to the effect that a given buyer had received a rebate and (2) at least two comments stating that Patriot denied a rebate, including one case that, IMHO, should have been honored.

I highly recommend that prospective buyers click on the link ("Looks familiar... ") in pyro451's post below. I'd hate to recommend an alleged "deal" that turns out to be a "burn."

Newegg Link. Rebate Lasts Until March 31

Review of the Memory at Insanetek.com

Wish I'd seen this sooner. It appears to compare favorably, especially the timings, to the Corsair XMS 2GB kit that is also on sale at Newegg.

Comments from those who have first-hand experience with this memory are invited.
