Patriot Dual Channel PC3200 DDR 2 x 256MB

Fry's has them for $59.99 AR. I am tempted to pick up a pair. I have not heard much about Patriot brand (PDP). Are these memory any good? I have not done any OC yet, but want to do so with the next rig. I hode these memory are a good starting point.

well, i've never heard of them, and there was only review of them on newegg, but it gave them a good recommendation. if you can return them if something goes wrong, i'd say go for it.

I've bought dozens of their 128,256, 512, and 1GB modules. They are on 6 layer PCB's using major brand chips. I've had nothing but good success with them in builds. However on the modules without the heatspreaders the timings are usually relaxed in the SPD.
