The Patriot Act was passed as a weapon against terrorism. It's being used for other crimes. What a surprise...not...

"Only three of the 763 "sneak-and-peek" requests in fiscal year 2008 involved terrorism cases, according to a July 2009 report from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. Sixty-five percent were drug cases."

It sure looks that way. The war on drugs in big business and big money. Getting rid of the war of drugs is going to become as hard as universal health care.

This is an excellent movie on the American drug war and who profits. I think we are at the point when any politician opens his mouth we should ask "Cui bono?"

I am shocked, utterly shocked I tell you!

You knew the War on Drugs would get involved in this. Anybody remember a few months ago we were going to start burning Afghan's Opium crops? That will win their heart and minds! Destroy their lively hood in the name of the war on drugs inside the war on terror.

Money: Too bad most terrorist groups are targeting England rather than the U.S. these days. I guest the "police state" is working out well.

Moonbeam: Yeah, but universal health care is a battle that can be won. Drugs? What a lost cause.

sixty five percent were drug cases? what were the rest? Why dont we all just use this bill for what it was originally intended. To spy on Hollywood, we need to keep a second by second update of what our favorite celebrities were up to.
