probably.
besides, if anything, patriot consistantly has better quality control than ocz. sure, ocz makes great products, but i've had to rma multiple sets of ram to them or the store (newegg) because they didn't run at specified timing stable at default voltage.
when you install ocz in say, a dell, and they need 2.7 or even 2.8v to be stable at the SPD timings (which are what is locked as a setting on OEM systems) well, your screwed with unstable useless memory. you can't adjust any of these programmed SPD settings on a OEM Dell or anything for that matter.
