Patrick Ewing, undoubtedly a great center, will get his jersey retired by the NYK today during half-time of game on ESPN (on now, 8pm EST). If you're a fan, watch this guy, 10 bucks says he sheds atear.
 
Damn, Jordan and Ewing sitting together. Weird, remember the last umpteen years of the Knicks losing to Jordan, so sad. Yeah, Ewing has two players to thank for him not getting a ring, Jordan and Hakeem, but it takes nothing away from one of the best big men ever. He's not Shaq, Wilt, Hakeem, etc. level, but in his day was the epitome of the inside/outisde big man. And boy did he play D.
