My 1993 3.0L Pathfinder, initially starts right up. Turn it off and it will click only and sometimes starting after 10-15 minutes. I have replaced the starter, battery, battery cables, and ignition switch. The alternator tested good, but I am thinking of getting a fresh one too. It had a factory alarm system and later I had a Viper installed. Viper checked it a while ago and said it wasn't the alarm keeping it from starting. I replaced the ignition switch and that fixed my starting problems back then. There's a starter relay that often goes bad on this Nissan, but I got a new one of those too. It's what clicks when you turn the key now. Alternator and battery dashboard warning lights go out when running. Runs well and recently passed emissions. I put the battery on a slow charge after running it down trying to get it started. Usually can fix stuff by myself but running out of ideas. Getting stuck somewhere happens a lot. Thanks

Check the starter solenoid signal cable with a multimeter. That should be 12V when you have the key turned to the start position and 0V at any other position.
