This is why I can't trust liberal blogs. Their attempts to distort reality are just as pathetic as those of their neocon cousins.
Why do they have to tell less than half the truth like they did about Dr. Paul?
Consider:
They compare him to other Republicans (who don't even try to cut spending anywhere near the degree Dr. Paul does, if at all), then they fail to mention he is one of only 2 Congressional members to refuse a pension, and they fail to mention that he would take less if he were President than the far wealthier Mitt Romney would;
They also fail to take into account that he's gives most of his salary back to the taxpayer as well as at least 1/2 of his office budget and that he has never taken a government paid junket;
Totally unforgiveable is that they neglect to mention that he treated his patients for free if they could not pay;
I would also not be surprised if it costed the taxpayer a substantial amount of money if Dr. Paul didn't accept social security... liberals wouldn't mention that, however.
