It was supposed to come out this week. I'm not quite sure how he has a copy. But that's besides the point. It's a matrix game, when has there been a GOOD matrix game?

I really want a good matrix game too, but it's not gonna happen. Upgrade, besides the obviously bad graphics that you'd expect from a matrix game, is the gameplay any good at all? I know, why bother... but you never know.
 
Heh, call me crazy but I thought the previous matrix game was pretty fun. It ran like $#!t on a good computer but it was fun.

Gameplay any good? I wouldn't know, it runs so bad. I've got a decent enough system I should be fine. But the thing is, it plays the same on the lowest settings as it does on the highest, so it isn't like I have the graphics too high. Speaking of, it looks HORRIBLE!

Here is the office

Horrible. That's on the highest settings.
Speaking of, anytime you change your video settings the game closes down and re-starts it self with the new settings. That means the "Atari" into logo, the "Shiny" into logo, etc etc. AND if you change your control setup, it goes away anytime you quit. So I have to re-map the keyboard eachtime.

It runs so weird and looks so horrible...I'm very very letdown.

It isn't the greatest machine but I play HL2, Doom 3, black and white 2, etc all at 1280x768 with not a problem

1.5 gigs ram

Heh.. wow, guess Shiny put out another crappy gaming despite having all the time in the world (their excuse for the last craptacular game was that they were under pressure from movie execs to get it done when the movie opened)

Wow that is pretty craptacular. I wonder if it's just a problem w/ your hardware, config or something, or if it's just that bad in general. I mean really, full $50 price for something that looks like that is regoddamdiculous

I'll be picking the game up tomorrow, possibly...I want to play it, but i really want to see this "normal mapping" they got to work on the ps2...
 
I'm not a graphics whore, but this just looks so awful I'm having a super hard time trying to play it

It looks like a PSX game threw up on a sega saturn game. Later in the office level when you go on the ledge, it's just.......horrible

Anyone else get it yet? It's out for sure today..

I can't stand how horrible it looks. I downgraded drivers, no help, upgraded every driver, no help. Looks so bad I can't stands it
 
Hmm.. with 3 outlets reporting in, gamerankings shows it as an 83%. Gamepro gave the graphics a 4/5... but the screenshots still look like crap. Maybe it looks better in motion?
