That towel looks really nice. I only stay at hotels that rent by the hour.

The towels there are brown and rough like sandpaper. When you use them to dry off, you smell like cigarettes and need another shower.

Cliff notes, 100% cotton towels wear quickly, especially the edges fray. So they use polyester there to keep them from fraying and thus lasting longer.

The trick is you need to go on the first Monday of the month, you get nice clean white towels since they were washed the day before.
