Can't blame HI. A lot of ass wiping happens on their towers.

Would you buy bulk HI towels?

Nope.

If that patent actually goes through does it mean all the existing towel manufacturers will need to pay royalties to Holiday Inn or cease operations? Seems crazy that you can patent something so basic and widely used.

Yeah I can't really imagine what that towel does differently than all the other towels

I'm sure there is a lot of marketing wank behind it. :p "Using HolidayFibre(TM) technology, these soft moisture transporting apparatus will ensure that surfaces that are treated remain dry to the touch by removing excess moisture such as liquified water and other matter that is in a liquid state, thanks to over 25 years of research by the hotel industry. Beware of imitations, only ours are certified by the international hotel federation and you can now bring this technology to your home! Buy now! Caution: product will be wet after use, ensure to dry properly before next use."

That towel looks really nice. I only stay at hotels that rent by the hour.

The towels there are brown and rough like sandpaper. When you use them to dry off, you smell like cigarettes and need another shower. :disrelieved:

The trick is you need to go on the first Monday of the month, you get nice clean white towels since they were washed the day before. ;)
