I want to patch an audio signal from my office over to my living room so I can listen to mp3s on the stereo there.
My original idea is to just use wall jacks and about 100ft of RCA patch cable up through the wall, through the attic, and down to my receiver. Where is a good place to get bulk cable? Is there a better way to do this?

Squeezebox, there are also other ways of transporting a stereo signal wirelessly. I think Linksys sells one.

Thanks but no thanks. I'm looking for a cheaper option than these devices. I'm only interested in patching the audio. Not video and a bunch of other stuff.
Also the Linksys device requires Vista. I'm not downgrading to Vista until I have no F'n choice.
