Pat Robertson Gets Even Funnier

Pat Robertson first makes a mockery of prayer, and then more hilarity ensues:

Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said Thursday he was not talking about any particular Supreme Court justices when he asked his television audience to pray that three liberal justices retire.

"I don't care which three, I mean as long as the three conservatives stay on," Robertson told reporters after an event at Regent University, which he leads as president and chancellor. "There's six liberals, so it's up to the Lord.

"I'm not telling God what to do," he added. "I'm just saying, 'Lord, help us."'

Kill all those liberal justices, and let God sort 'em out!

I heard him tell specifically who he wanted out, and Justice Sandra Day O'Conner is one of them. He is a lier too. He is not a Christian. A Christian would not pray for such things.

Maybe his god wants that kind of request before he/she'll act... My God, who is God, simply wonders if he should intervene and stop Robertson's insanity before it causes some nut to do his god's bidding... Robertson is a dangerous person... IMO..

His prayer was doublespeek for, "Hey fellow "Christians", let's get rid of these Aholes who dare to disagree with us!"

Ask him to pray for the removal of someone he supports(likely Bush) and he'll most likely reply, "God has placed him there!" He likely feels the same way towards the Conservative Judges, but somehow "God's" choice of the Libs needs to be revised, for Mr Robinson thinks "God" is deficient in these choices.

I realize I have just put words in his mouth, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

Pat Robertson is part of the problem with US Christianity, it's not Religion encroaching on Politics, it's quite the opposite: It's Politics hijacking Religion then appearing as Religion in order to direct the Religious towards a Political end. The proof is in the use of "Morality", Clinton was the Devil, but Bushes worse Moral ambiguity and outright Immoral Acts get a Pass, because he is of the proper Political persuasion and gives Lip-Service to religion. Robertson and others are an abomination, their "prayers" are empty words, their God is themselves, they are below contempt.

Ooops... 😀

Yeah, this whole thing is kinda funny, because MY GOD told me to pray for Pat Robertson to retire (and/or die - I'm not sure how to interpret it). And you know, my god can kick his god's ass any day and in any way. Oh yeah, bring it Pat! My god will take you to school, punk. 😛

Well said.

Hrmmmmm, I distinctly remember reading something pertaining to the seperation of state and arsehole.

Pat Robertson is a backwards hillbilly putting on airs of sanctity.

Well your God tried by giving him Prostate Cancer. Unfortunately his God intervened and spared him. Next time maybe your God can just strike him dead!
