"I read your book," Robertson said, according to a transcript of the interview posted on his Christian Broadcasting Network's website (www.cbn.com).

"When you get through, you say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer.' "

I guess this flows logically from his previous statements when he cheered God for 'allowing' 9/11.

Edit:
As reported by the Associated Press, Robertson also advocated bombing the State Department during a June interview with Mowbray. "It's like an entrenched bureaucracy that has their own agenda, and it doesn't comport with the will of the American people. How do we get rid of them.... Well, it looks like Congress had better do something, and maybe we need a very small nuke thrown off on Foggy Bottom to shake things up," Robertson said."

See? Luciferians have the same goal as Christians - the Apocalypse. Of course the Luciferians want it so they can control the world whereas Christians want it so Yeshua "Jesus" will return. BTW, it is my belief that Pat Robertson is a Luciferian.

Are you sure? Tell me where in the following that Robertson advocates bombing the State Department...

Robertson, who has been a frequent critic of the State Department, made the offending comments during an interview with a like-minded critic of US diplomacy, columnist Joel Mowbray, who has written a book entitled "Dangerous Diplomacy: How the State Department Threatens American Security."

"I read your book," Robertson said, according to a transcript of the interview posted on his Christian Broadcasting Network's website (www.cbn.com).

"When you get through, you say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer'," he said.

"I mean, you get through this, and you say, 'We've got to blow that thing up.' I mean, is it as bad as you say?" Robertson asked.

Mowbray responded: "It is."

All Robertson was doing was quoting what the other guy said and then asked him if it was really that bad.

if its spoken though, its much easier to interpret the other way. no quotes to help you.

1. Read the quote, he was just asking if the state dept was really as shaky as the authors deems them to be.

2. Roberson is considered a raving lunatic by the vast majority of the Christian community.

Um no

As Reuters points out, "Robertson said that a person who read Mowbray's book would reach the conclusion that a nuclear explosion at the State Department was the best solution."

Why? Nukes will just hurt innocent people around the raging religious freaks. I think a police sniper would be more than adequate to do the job. :)

Good to hear that you guys are big fans of freedom of speech.
Yeah, let's just talk about killing a guy because we disagree with him.
So what if he's a nut. This is America, where you have the right to be a nut.

I want to see this prick taken down hard. You know that if it were anyone but a christian minister making that kind of a statement, Homeland Security would come in the night and "escort" him out of his home.

This guy just wants me to eliminate him - his continued stupidity is going to foul up my plans (if anyone pays attention)

This can be arranged - but he'd be WISHING it were Homeland Security department that grabbed him.

Did you guys miss the above posts?
He didn't say that.
But I'm sure the facts won't get in the way of your chance to attack a christian fundamentalist.

He didn't directly state that terrorists should bomb the state department, he just suggested the answer to the "problem" of the existence of the state department is to get a nuclear device inside foggy bottom. Just as bad IMO.

This guy is not just a fundamentalist, he's insane.

While I'm no fan of Robertson, your reading comprehension sucks too.

"I read your book," Robertson said, according to a transcript of the interview posted on his Christian Broadcasting Network's website (www.cbn.com).

"When you get through, you say, 'If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer'," he said.

He is speaking to someone else, saying that YOU say "If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom...".

Christ.

I'm no fan either.
It's not their reading comprehension, it's their selective reading interpretation.

Err, perhaps you're misreading the transcript. I don't think Colin Powell was upset because Robertson was conducting a random interview.

Granted this is a bit ambiguous, but I don't think both "you say"'s are in fact quotes from the book. I read the latter quote as meaning "the reader gets through the book and says to himself, "We got to blow that thing up"".
