Sometimes certain people just infuriate me on the forums...
But some people. Some people always have a very intelligent, nice, and well thought out reply.

We all sometimes engage in flame, as we sometimes feel it is absolutely justified to flame "that troll over there"...
And you know what, I am willing to admit that sometimes I am saying rather dumb things, and there is no way around the fact that I am being an ass.

Well, lets instead have a thread for patting someone on the back and saying thank you. Maybe buying them a virtual beer.

So with that in mind, I will start.

Thank you Syntax Error for generally being a swell guy around the forums. And making thoughtful posts consistently.









Note: It should be obvious but please, absolutely no bad remarks towards anyone. Say something positive about another forumite, or say nothing at all.

I honestly have been helped by so many people that I would feel bad if I left anyone out or showed partiality, so I'm giving a "thank you" to every helpful person on AnandTech. If I've ever said "thank you" to you in a thread or PM, I really meant it and appreciated your time and effort. To counteract that, a HUGE thank you to every AT member that not only participates in ATOT's SS, but also everyone that sees it all the way through by sending their gifts and notifying us right away. You don't realize it but you save both Jeff and I so much time and energy just by doing that.

Also a thank you to anyone who's ever given me advice, whether it be personal or technology related. If i have ever thanked you in a thread or a PM, I truly meant it.

What, no flaming at all?! But this is what ATOT is all about. You make one wrong move and everyone is all over you. Hell even if you make a good point people here will still have something to say about your bad spelling and that its a repost etc.

But I'm just kidding (sort of).
I want to say thank you to like 80% of ATOT members which are great guys, and make this place worth wasting a lot of my boss's money (work time) on.

For the other 20% (most of you know very well who you are) you can DIAF as far as I'm concerned, but still you're part of the set, and after all there's no good without evil right?
