Pasting from a webpage to Word

Is there a way, when selecting text on a webpage, to paste into Word without pasting it as a table?

You can paste into notepad first. Since it does not support complex formatting it is automatically removed. Once you have what you want in notepad, move it to Word.

Or you could use Firefox to view the page after downloading the "Copy Plain Text" context menu extension. Works pretty slick for stuff like this.
