Passwords in XP

Sorry for the confusion. In 98se when I log on to a site that requires a password, Windows asks if I want to save the password for future use. Does XP do this?

By defoult it should ask you for this, but there is also an option to "never ask this question aggain", I was wondering if it is ossible to get it to remember passwords if I clicked on this option. Maning can I make IE ask me aggain if I want to save passwords.
