Passwording on the Network

How would I go about passwording my roommate's printer that I use on the network since that's the only way to access it? I don't want random prints from kids on campus saying "Hi. What's your name?" because thats just annoying and weird.

Should be able to do this by associating user permissions under the printer's Security tab.

Where's that security tab? I couldn't find one around the printer. This is Windows XP.
