passwording a network printer?

Is this possible? I am in a college dorm and want to share my printer with only my roommate, via either a password or a network restriction. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
 
Forgot to mention I'm using windows XP professional. It doesn't have security options when I share it, just "not shared" or "shared" with a name box after it.
