Well, I downloaded a rar and it's encrypted. Is there any way to get into it without the password?

If there's an APP, then I suppose the mod has a reason to move or lock it.

Most of them are brute force password programs. You can find names of them via Google pretty easily. Also, try googling the rar name and you may find a site with the password. It has worked for me a few times.
 
Yea, you can only brute-force it, which is a nightmare if it's over like 6 characters. RAR uses AES I think - very strong encryption.


 
Well, fsck. I e-mailed the person who uploaded it this morning, not sure when he uploaded it so he might not even use the same E-Mail. I guess I'll wait a day or so before trying another method. I've never been able to brute force anything, I don't imagine my luck changing this time around.
