Password trouble in Win2k!! help!

Ok, I have 2 desktop comps with XP on them that have net access but since they need to specify an IP to get on the net I can't use TCP/IP to network my laptop (that has Win2K on it). So I use IPX and it works good except that my laptop can't seem to get access to my deskop computers, it always asks for a username and password on the win2k laptop to access the deskop, what would I type in? I tried using my admin login for win2k, the login for my main user on my XP desktops, nothing! what do i put in there?
