password reset tablet pc ? no floppy, no cdrom

I am on a 5 day conference and borrowed a tablet pc from our hospital since no handouts will be given at the conference. The slides are available for download. I intended to use the tablet to take notes and view the slides of the lectures.

I instructed the IT guy to make me a power user and he said no problem.

I am now in the airport and find out he did not.

I asked him for the admiistrator password and he said he could not remember. That is why he could not change my privileges.
He said he could reset the password if I bring it back to him which I cannot.

I asked him if I can reset the pasword myself and he said it was okay.

Most of the slides are in PDF format and I had intended to install Acrobat so that I could write notes on the slides as the lecture progressed. Apparently I need more privileges to install Acrobat 6 (not the reader)

Now I know there is a way to do it off a floppy or cdrom (Boot disc) none of wich I have available.

Any Ideas on how to reset the password in windows tablet environment?

I have internet connection thru my laptop
I have a 32mb usb thumb drive
and thats it.
I do not have the restore disc or operating disk that came with the tablet (with IT guy)
The tablet is a Scribbler 2000 Electrovaya.

You can PM me if you feel uncomfortable posting a possible solution.

Thanks
