My twin brother (CZroe) changed his password recently and needs to go through recovery. His secret question is our mother's maiden name, which is rejected as "incorrect". (?!?)

It's a well-established fact on this forum.

All he needs is for the moderator to reset his password and perform the email verification again. His email address should still be on file.

Mods: My brother has a pending trade, and he does not want to use my account because I have no Heatware. Please reset his password and email the information to his address.

Thanks.

Have you tried sending a private message to Anandtech Moderator? You might get better results since they don't actively monitor this forum. Hope you get a resolution soon.

I tried sending an email as suggested by the password recovery function. Who should I specifically PM about this? Will any moderator be able to do it?

Whatr does the CZ stand for? Canal Zone? :p

"CZroe" is short for "CyberZer0"...and much less corny-sounding. Our first online experience was with America Online, just before they introduced the unlimited plan. Even then, almost all of the screen names were taken and he had to resort to using a number at the end. We quickly grew out of AOL and corny "screen names".

Yes, any mod. Click this link and ask away.

Just hope you don't get the Mean Mod. He'll send you a new password - but it'll be a bit difficult to figure out after it's been passed through a 1024-bit encryption algorithm.:p
