Password Protection for Outlook Express

Is there a way to Password protect outlook express without using the identity feature? Basicly i have a user who says his previous PC allowed him to password outlook express. I set him up using the identity feature, but he has this habbit of using the X to close a program, and so he never uses the "log off" feature and therefore when he starts it back up it logges him in the same. I have no idea how he could have been set up before, but i feel the need to at least try my best to set it back up the way he says it worked. Does anyone know how to do this? If i have to use identities is there a way to specify it to always log off? Thanks.
