password protecting folders on small network?

i know this is elementary, but im trying to password protect a shared drive on a small network.
im using windows xp (but everything is in italian b/c that is where i am helping a friend)... any way i could get a step by step on how to p/w protect this drive?

the comp has a reg account that is password protected, and a limited account. im concerned that limited accounts can access drives on other comps on the network. i only want the adminstrator to do that.

help is appreciated
