Is my password protected pst file in Outlook 2007 encrypted, as well?

Thanks.

That depends. When you set the password on the PST file, did you also select the option to encrypt the file? If not, then no, it is not encrypted.

There isn't an option to encrypt it anywhere, though. Do I have to encrypt the file manually outside of Outlook using TrueCrypt?

What version of Outlook are you using? In older versions you could opt to use encryption at the time the PST was created but that option went away when the new PST format was introduced.

2007, so that option is gone... All right. Not a problem. I'll just make a TrueCrypt volume and house everything there. Thanks, again.
